Research summary

I am interested in how humans make predictions about novel objects based on  what they know about the category that the object belongs to. This is known as  categorical induction. There are many common effects that can be observed  relating to biases in these predictions and my PhD is focused on forming a  mathematical model relating to this.

Teaching summary

2015-2017: Postgraduate Tutor-  This included running tutorials based on statistics and practical report  writing and marking practical reports.
2016-2017: Statistics Teaching  Assistant- This included running computer based statistics sessions and marking  assignments.
