I am interested in the application of biodelignification systems for enhanced breakdown of lignocellulosic waste streams. Our work focuses on trying to develop a deeper mechanistic understanding of bacteria and enzymes capable of lignocellulosic biodegradation with the prospect of field-scale landfill and/or anaerobic digestion applications.
