This course is aimed at advanced students who wish to further their oral and aural skills in Spanish.
The course will be taught through the medium of Spanish.
Este curso está orientado para estudiantes de nivel avanzado que quieren seguir practicando sus destrezas auditivas y orales.
En este curso se tratarán temas actuales de España y América Latina. Analizaremos el efecto de la pandemia en todos los ámbitos de la cultura, política y sociedad española través de documentales, prensa española y latinoamericana y programas culturales de televisión.
También comentaremos algunas obras literarias contemporáneas, películas y series de cine recientes.
Los estudiantes tendrán oportunidad de practicar sus destrezas orles mediante discusiones y debates sobre los temas tratados.
Learning and teaching
The emphasis of the course is on participation and students are encouraged to actively participate in class through various non-threatening forms of activities designed to stimulate communication.

Coursework portfolio and class participation. Our assessments are flexible to suit the course and the student.
The most important element of assessment is that it should enhance your learning. Our methods are designed to increase your confidence and we try very hard to devise ways of assessing you that are enjoyable and suitable for adults with busy lives.
