This educational course is accredited by the British Association of Dermatologists.

We are proud to announce that the both dermoscopy courses run by the School of Medicine have been accredited by the British Association of Dermatologists.

The British College of Dermatology (BCD) accredits a comprehensive range of high-quality educational resources for consultants, trainees, SAS doctors, medical students and the wider healthcare community. Their aim is to develop the dermatology workforce, ultimately to benefit patient care.

In order to be accredited, educational courses must fulfil robust criteria, including reflective, evidence-based learning that is delivered by appropriately qualified and experienced professionals. Courses must address equality, diversity and inclusion and promote the interests of the patient.

We are delighted to gain accreditation from the British Association of Dermotologists. This is especially meaningful because dermatologists and other healthcare professionals can be confident the education they receive from Cardiff University has been independently assessed to ensure a consistent and high-quality standard. Bookings are open for the next intake of our original Introduction to Dermoscopy course, which has been running successfully for several years.
