Postgraduate enrolment

Enrolment information for new postgraduate taught and research students at the School of Medicine.

School inductions for the 2023-24 academic year are currently being planned. We'll update this page as soon as we have more information on when and where your school induction will be taking place.

Congratulations on being offered a place at Cardiff University. We are looking forward to welcoming you as you start your studies, and are working hard to ensure that you will be living and learning safely.

To help you settle into student life, we are busy planning induction activities where you will have the opportunity to get to know both staff and your Academic School.

New postgraduate taught students

The first thing you'll need to do as a new student is complete online enrolment. This task opens approximately one month before your programme starts (you'll receive an email outlining everything you'll need to do).

Your specific programme of study has details on course structure, modules, tutors and more. If you can't find what you're looking for, please email pgtmeddelivery@cardiff.ac.uk.

New postgraduate research students

After you complete online enrolment, you'll need to enrol with the School of Medicine.

School enrolment will take place on 1 October 2021. Due to the current restrictions, the event will take place via electronic means (Zoom). We'll email you to confirm the time and date for the even in the near future.

You will need have the following documents with you:

  • Passport
  • Visa (if applicable)
