Undergraduate induction
New students - before induction
Before induction, please complete the following tasks:
- Complete on-line enrolment
- If not already in possession of one, please collect your Student Card
- Please install the Zoom client (“Download Client” link at the bottom) to improve the online experience.
- (Alternatively, the client can be installed using Zenworks/Cardiff Apps)
- Complete any personal arrangements e.g. opening a bank account

Tours of Abacws
We are also planning to offer the chance to visit Abacws (the new home of the school) over the week. Please keep an eye on your University email for more details on this.

Complete enrolment tasks as outlined above. You will need your ID card to collect your laptop, so please collect this as soon as possible.
Monday 27th September - Collect your laptop
You should book a slot to collect your laptop from the Turing Suite in the Queen’s buildings on Mon 27th September. This will enable you to use your laptop for the online induction events that start on Tues 29th and continue through the week.

The one-way system will not be in effect, but we suggest using the entrance via the car park on West Grove and exit on Newport Road. Please read the Coronavirus Health & Safety intranet page and guidance on face covering prior to collection.
