The Health Library is located in the Cochrane Building and contains collections on nursing, midwifery, allied health, medicine, medical and biological sciences.

Easter staffed service hours:
29 March-1 April: No staffed services
From 2 April: Normal semester staffed services
The library enquiry desk (ground floor) is staffed:
Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 19:00
Saturday: 10:00 – 17:30
Sunday: unstaffed

The Health Library is located on the ground, first and second floors of the Cochrane Building on the University Hospital of Wales (UHW), Heath Park campus.

Access

Monday – Friday up to 18.00: use main and side doors of the library on the ground floor. After 18:00 until 07.00: use side door only. You will need a Cardiff University library ID card (swipe card), or you will be asked to show your NHS ID card for access.
Saturday and Sunday: use side door of the library only;
