Access to our libraries and services

Cardiff University libraries are now open but we are currently unable to offer the following services to members of the public:

  • walk in access to electronic resources service

Some membership schemes are available, please see the Visiting and membership pages for more information. Existing members of the library can borrow and return books from most sites, see our borrowing books page for more information.

Information about visiting our libraries

  • Please refer to Welsh Government guidance for coronavirus advice, including what to do if you have symptoms, when you are a close contact, or if you need to self-isolate.
  • You must not visit any Cardiff University Library if you have symptoms of or have tested positive for COVID-19.
  • Consider wearing a face covering in crowded or enclosed spaces.
