Student Futures support for graduates

Direction sign in sunset

We’re here to help you prepare for your future and to make choices about what you'd like to do beyond completing your course.

We provide resources, services and events to help you understand your options, achieve your potential and succeed in securing a job, further study or other opportunities.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has had a huge impact on our university community. We understand the challenges, fears and uncertainties you may have experienced as a student, but also as a new graduate. With this in mind, our Student Futures team have created a range of additional support to help you.

Graduate leavers survey

Complete a Graduate leavers survey to help us understand your next steps and your future plans. You will also get the chance to let us know if you’d like some extra career support to help kick start your life after university. Keep an eye on your emails from 20 June.

Paid internships

These internships are the perfect way for you to develop the skills which graduate employers are looking for right now, while allowing you to build your confidence and professional network.

Browse all opportunities on your careers account and look out for ‘Graduate Internships’.

Online resources

We’re launching a bespoke ‘Graduate’ area on Your Career Journey, dedicated to the latest insights, advice and tips to help you navigate subjects like the labour market, how to cope with career uncertainty and how to prepare for interviews and assessment centres. The sessions can be completed in your own time.

Our final year students and recruitment experts share their insights to help you navigate your career journey in a post-pandemic world. Each episode features a guest expert on a specific topic and is presented by fellow students.
