Combating Ageing Diseases in Modern Medicine

The theme of this year's CITER's Soc scientific workshop is "combating ageing diseases in modern medicine" and is being organised by postgraduate members from the Cardiff Institute of Tissue Engineering and Repair Society (CITER Soc). The workshop will take place on Wednesday 12 of December 2018, at Cardiff University and is targeted at year 12 / 13 science pupils from six schools in the Cardiff area.

Throughout the afternoon a range of topics including tissue engineering in medicine and other novel therapeutic strategies will be discussed and interactive outreach activities will be demonstrated.

Talks will be delivered by leaders in novel areas of cutting-edge science and will provide a highly informative and thought-provoking experience for the students.
