What Next for the Global Economy after Covid-19?
This session will discuss the macroeconomics of the Covid-19 pandemic. The amount of new data and new research produced in the last few months is truly overwhelming, and the briefing will summarise the most important findings for you. We will explain the situation by examining similarities and differences between UK, Spanish and Polish economies which will help us understand what factors are critical in terms of the depth of the crisis and subsequent speed of recovery. We will discuss the likely changes that the pandemic will bring to globalization, economic policy, labour markets, taxes and healthcare with a view to help businesses and organisations to better prepare for the future.
