The Wolfson Centre for Young People’s Mental Health is a multi-disciplinary centre working with partners across Wales focusing on understanding the causes of youth anxiety and depression and also working with schools creating early interventions to make sure young people get the right help, advice and support they need.
Professor Rice will discuss her research into anxiety and depression in young people, looking at inter-generational, genetic and social influences and Professor Murphy discusses the role of schools, how the Centre can work with them to support young people, – and how their findings can be used to make changes across Wales, the UK and around the world.
