Jonathan Portes is Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the School of Politics & Economics at King's College, London. He has previously served as Chief Economist at both the Department of Work and Pensions and the Cabinet Office. His current research concentrates on issues related to immigration and labour mobility and the economic implications of Brexit.
