The global demand for clothing is expected to increase by 60% in the next ten years. Yet, the clothing sector and its production processes are under increasing scrutiny for putting pressure on water resources worldwide.

Cardiff Water Research Institute is bringing together experts from academia and industry for an evening discussion around the environmental impact of the textile industry.

Speakers include:

  • Prof Max Munday (Cardiff Water Research Institute/Business School);
  • Conor Linstead (Freshwater Specialist - WWF);
  • Claire Rees (Journalist & Sustainable Fashion Stylist).
