Our biology is set up to work in partnership with the sun and the 24-hour light-dark cycle that it presides over.

From our bone health, to our sleep cycles, immune systems, and mental health, access to sunlight – and darkness – is crucial for our physical and mental well-being.

As we increasingly move into light-polluted cities, spending our days in dim offices and our evenings watching brightly lit screens, we are in danger of losing that connection.
