Supporting education

Take part in our active programme of public lectures, demonstrations and outreach events.

We have an exciting range of school outreach activities which can be delivered in a school classroom or our labs. Each activity is tailored to the age and ability of the students so they are encouraged and engaged throughout.

We also host an informative lecture series during the academic year, which is open to the public and covers topics relevant to current geoscientific research. Recent topics include:

  • Dangerous Earth
  • Earth's natural resources: here today, gone tomorrow?
  • The importance and diversity of isotopic studies in the geosciences.
