A photo-journalist with 20 years photo-journalistic experience in difficult arenas (China and Japan) for national print and web outlets.
Activities
Using advanced digital photography (time lapse, 2.5-d, 360), sound recording, still photography, journalism, video editing and effects. Richard is documenting Welsh communities, past and present using advanced forms of photography for the “Changing Industrial Landscape of Wales” project, Part 1 – energy.
The sample film was partly funded with a Research and Development Grant from the Arts Council of Wales as well as self-funded.
The on-going project’s subject matter, application and the organic nature allows for a multi-faceted approach, and many possibilities for engagement in some Communities First / Pioneer Initiative clusters.
