The collection, preservation and making accessible of written records relating to the history of Glamorgan and its people.
Activities
Glamorgan Archives have been involved with a number of projects and have recently held Partnership with the Parliamentary Archives and Merthyr College on S.O.Davies and workmen’s compensation for the Magna Carta/de Montfort anniversaries. They have also worked with CAER project on poverty.
Resources
The Collection is a massive available resource for content covering the full geographic range of the project over a thousand years. The Glamorgan Building has spaces available for meetings and for temporary exhibitions. The archives can access grant funding streams which could add to the reach of project plans.
