As part of the FAW Trust's Female Player Development Pathway, the South Girls' Performance Centre aims to support and develop talented female players to progress onto regional and national squads.
The South Girls' Performance Centre is one of seven Performance Centres within Wales, all having a key focus to develop female players "the Welsh way". For the 2018/2019 season the Performance Centres will assist with player development across the 2004 to 2011 years of birth.

Cardiff University Sport is also looking forward to working with the South Wales Football Association and the South Wales Women's & Girls' League to ensure that talented female players in South Wales have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
