Research interest

Topical and transdermal drug delivery, development of in vitro models, pro-drugs & co-drugs, topical formulation design (e.g. cream, gel, drug-in-glue patches, medicated dressings), natural products, chemical analysis.  Also:

  • Targeted dermal/dermatological delivery
  • Development of novel transcutaneous and transdermal delivery systems.
  • Rational design of pro-drugs/co-drugs
  • Probing mechanisms of topical drug delivery
  • Natural products (particularly anti-inflammatory and anti-infectives)
