Svetlana’s research interests are primarily in corporate finance and forecasting with particular emphases on the role of financial analysts in financial markets and mergers and acquisitions.
Svetlana is keen to incorporate her previous commercial experience working as a consultant in her research, teaching and supervision activities. She has experience in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate level and supervises MSc and PhD students.
Svetlana is a member of the Empirical Finance Group at Cardiff Business School. She acts as a reviewer for several journals and conferences in the finance area.
