Trosolwg
I am a sociologist, with interests in gender, the media and gender-based violence. I also have a particular interest in young people and social class, and use a qualitative, mixed method and participatory approach to research design and analysis. I feel passionately about providing strong evidence-base for academics, policy-makers, commissioners and practitioners about what works to protect, support and influence the outcomes of groups at risk of physical, sexual and emotional violence, abuse and exploitation. I am currently working within CASCADE (Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre) as a Research Associate on the 'Keeping Safe' project, which explores what works to protect and influence positive outcomes for children at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation.
