Rwy'n Ddarlithydd yn Ysgol y Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol. Rydw i'n dysgu ar fodiwlau addysg, plentyndod a hawliau plant. Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn cynnwys hawliau plant, tegwch mewn addysg, ac asesiad. Mae fy ngwaith ymchwil diweddar wedi canolbwyntio ar symudiadau cymdeithasol ac actifiaeth pobl ifanc. Rydw i nawr yn gwneud ymchwil ar actifiaeth plant a phobl ifanc yng Nghymru.
Yn ystod fy nghyfnod yng Nghaerdydd rwyf wedi gweithio ar brosiect ymchwil Addysg WISERD ac wedi cwblhau dau brosiect ar gyfer Comisiynydd Plant Cymru, gan gynnwys adolygiad o'r tystiolaeth ar hawliau dynol plant yng Nghymru.
Cyn ymuno â WISERD, cwblheais fy noethuriaeth Addysg yng Nghanolfan Hawliau Plant, Prifysgol Queen's, Belfast. Roedd hwn yn brosiect dulliau cymysg a ddefnyddiodd dulliau ymchwil hawliau plant i nodi barn a phrofiadau myfyrwyr o TGAU a'u diwygio yng Ngogledd Iwerddon a Chymru. Wrth gwblhau fy noethuriaeth, bûm yn gweithio fel Cymrawd Ymchwil ar brosiect Prifysgol Rhydychen a Phrifysgol Queen's yn ymchwilio i ba mor ragweladwy oedd arholiadau y 'Leaving Certificate' yng Ngweriniaeth Iwerddon.
