Ludivine researches the policy, law and regulation of food, agriculture and environmental protection with a specific focus on novel technologies, such as biotechnology, hydraulic fracturing or the newly developed cultured meat. She is interested in food and energy security, agri-technology, sustainable agriculture, as well as public participation and governance issues. Her research ranges across EU, US, WTO levels and adopts a comparative analysis of the different systems from local economies to international trade liberalisation. Ludivine has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (US) and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Georgia (US) and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (Italy).
Ludivine holds postgraduate taught degrees from Paris II Panthéon-Assas and the University of Glasgow, and a PhD from the University of Leeds. She serves on the management board of the European Council for Agricultural Law (CEDR) as British Deputy National Delegate.
