Trosolwg

I joined the School of Healthcare Sciences in 2014 as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing, having previously worked as a staff nurse in Nephrology and Transplant at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, undertaken a PhD sponsored by the Research Capacity Building Collaboration (RCBC) Wales at Cardiff School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies, and worked as a Research Associate for the Marie Curie Palliative Care Research Centre.

Bywgraffiad

After qualifying as a registered nurse I worked as a staff nurse in Nephrology and Transplant at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. In 2009 I secured funding from the Research Capacity Building Collaboration (RCBC) Wales to undertake a full-time PhD studentship at the Cardiff School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies. My PhD focused on patients' and families' experiences of using peritoneal dialysis, utilising ethnographic methods.

I then joined the Marie Curie Palliative Care Research Centre, Cardiff University School of Medicine, in 2012 as a Research Assistant, before working as a Research Associate.  In this role I worked as part of an interdisciplinary research team and contributed to a variety of qualitative studies.

I joined the School of Healthcare Sciences in 2014 as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing.
