Trosolwg
My research focus is related to the optical and biomechanical properties of transparent materials. I am using techniques such as cell and organ culture, synchrotron x-ray studies, electron microscopy and histology to investigate how the various hierarchical structures within these materials give rise to their transparency and refractive status.
