I am an Honorary University Associate in Law and Politics, currently working at the Sustainable Places Research Institute. I am interested in place, local and social economics, and the anti-poverty agenda.
I was Associate Director (Policy) at the Centre for Local Economic Strategies, and Senior Researcher at the Centre for Regeneration Excellence Wales.
I developed with Professor Dave Adamson the ‘Deep Place’ approach to economically, socially, culturally and environmentally sustainable communities.
