I am an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Postdoctoral Research Fellow Research Associate at Newcastle University, Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Bath and Co-Chair of the Defence Research Network. Her research brings a critical feminist perspective to counterinsurgency scholarship, conceptualising military power as a gendered system of knowledge production and critiquing the discursive construction of women’s war labour.
