My research sets out to foster creative, curious and imaginative ways of attending to how gender and sexuality comes to matter in young people’s everyday digitally-networked lives. In 2020 I completed my PhD, titled Exploring young people's digital sexual cultures through creative, visual and arts-based methods, at the School of Social Sciences, Cardiff University, Wales.

I am currently employed as an ESRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow (October 2021 - September 2022). My fellowship sets out to further contribute to understandings of young people’s digital sexual cultures in academia and in practice, through publishing substantive PhD findings as well as applying and developing the arts-based methodological techniques developed through my PhD. This includes piloting a new research project whereby young people will be supported to investigate how thinking-with fungi can enable us to debate, elaborate and re-envision the popular imaginary around digital technologies, sexuality and gender.
