Bywgraffiad

I'm a research assistant at Wales Fiscal Analysis, within the Wales Governance Centre. Prior to this post, I worked at the Wales Centre for Public Policy.

I have a PhD and Master's in Political Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brasil. I also hold a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the same university. Before moving to Wales, I worked at the João Pinheiro Foundation and School of Government, for a number of years.

My research interests lie in using a gendered and racialised framework to analyse political institutions, with publications on electoral systems, campaign finance, public finance, among others. In addition to my own publications, I also have translations in Political Science and other fields.

I'm an avid science communicator and have led many guest lectures and seminars into these topics for various audiences, from highly specialised to elementary school children.
