Marc-Alban’s research interest focus on the development and use of geochemical tools to investigate geological processes pertaining to planet formation and evolution and the dynamics of magmatic systems in general. Current work involves:

-           The use of Titanium isotopes to trace magmatic processes on the Earth and Moon

-           Tracing the origin of Earth’s siderophile elements budget using Osmium stable isotopes

-           Life and death of magma bodies, either small scale basaltic or large scale silicic

-           Subduction zone processes and impact of recycling on mantle heterogeneity
