Trosolwg
I am currently working as a Research Associate on the project MANUELA (Machine learning applied to pilot lines built around the use of metal additive manufacturing), funded by Horizon 2020. My current research focuses on the development of data analytic tools (e.g. machine learning, data mining) to support the understanding, the optimisation and the multi-scale and multi-physics simulation of Metal Additive Layer Manufacturing.
I received my PhD at The University of Auckland, New Zealand, in the area of advanced manufacturing in 2018. My Master's and Bachelor's degrees were both obtained in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, China in 2014 and 2012.
My research interests cover a wide range of topics in the area of advanced manufacturing, including Machine Learning, Metal Additive Manufacturing, Digital Twin, Industry 4.0, Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, Augmented Reality (AR), data communication standards, etc.
