I currently teach courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels on critical and cultural theory and cultural criticism with particular emphasis on gender, race, ethnicity and identity.
Beyond the University, I chair Butetown History & Arts Centre, a community-based arts and history project, which is located in the old multi-ethnic Docklands community of Cardiff Bay. I have been integrally involved with this organisation since 1990.
