Summary
Providing an initial point of contact for all visitors to the building; receiving and directing in-coming telephone calls to the School; dealing with and referring enquiries as appropriate; using e-mail to convey messages; monitoring and ordering stationery within the school, photocopying lecture notes and handouts for academic staff; checking-in of deliveries to the School, contacting staff as appropriate, secure retention of packages; security observations; point of contact for first aid in reception and stairs; arranging appointments with members of the Community Participant Panel and maintaining the signing-up sheets for the University Participant Panel; assisting with seasonal mailings and collation of documents; key-holders for the Tower building – locking up duties, liaison with Security Centre; issuing of roof permits; recording and reporting faults and breakages to Estates hotline.
