Mohammad has a Bachelors degree in interior design from the College of Architecture and Design, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Amman-Jordan with a grade of Very Good. He also obtained a Masters degree in the same subject from the College of Architecture and Islamic Arts, The World Islamic Sciences & Education University W.I.S.E, Amman-Jordan with a grade of Very Good.

Recently he has been working in academia as a lecturer in the Interior Design Department, the faculty of Architecture and Design, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and before that worked as a part-time lecturer in different universities. He has over 5 years of experience, working with architectural, interior and consultant offices, as well as contract companies. He gained exceptional skills and experience in planning, detailing, designing and co-ordinating projects in both the public and private sectors. He worked as a designer, draftsman, site supervisor and site engineer, developing strengths in understanding, calculating and designing precise concepts with innovative creativity within cross-functional project teams.

Defining practical features for creating green and sustainable interior environments in Jordanian healthcare facilities.

Mohammad’s interests lie in studying sustainability in interior spaces and indoor environments, to achieve inhabitant satisfaction, well-being and comfort. Therefore, the research focuses on describing and exploring the variety of spatial interior design factors that appear to influence indoor environments, such as thermal performance, lighting, air quality, ventilation and aquatic features in Jordanian public hospitals by considering one or two hospital departments and their correlation as the starting point to achieve patient satisfaction.
