Traethawd ymchwil

A study for the impact of social background on the learning approaches of students and their performance in architectural design education.

The research aims on comprehending and analyzing the design learning approaches of students coming from different social backgrounds to observe how being raised and spending most of their life under a particular social status impart certain personality dispositions that affect the students’ understanding of architecture and their behavior towards learning architecture.

Social theories by Bourdieu and learning theories by Bernstein and Maton serves as the theoretical framework for the study.
