Multi-parametric Analysis for Green Building Design
Sherine’s research aims to optimise building energy performance by developing a multi-parametric analysis protocol. As confirmed by many post occupancy surveys and evaluation of green building performance, actual performances (especially in energy use) are much poorer than the claimed performance during assessment submissions. Case studies have almost overwhelmingly proved that there are inherent significant problems in the approach of assessment methods and performance verifications. This research aims to develop a generic tool to optimise building energy performance so as to achieve real building energy performance.
