My project primarily focuses on the application of novel methods in studying layered intrusions. It aims to produce the first comprehensive record of the lithostratigraphy and geochemistry of the Monchegorsk Complex (MC) located on the Kola Peninsula in Russia.

The MC will be compared to the Earth's largest platinum resource hosted by the Bushveld Complex in South Africa, which will have important implications for the mineral potential of the MC and the surrounding area.
