I am interested in how well individuals can detect when others are ambivalent and whether there are individual and/or cultural differences in the ability to detect others’ ambivalence. I am also interested in the implications of being able to detect when others are ambivalent. Do people interact differently with others when they know that someone is ambivalent? Does this depend on one’s cultural background?
