Trosolwg
I am a PhD student researching the French and Spanish states’ responses to various social movements over the period since the 2008 financial crash.
I am originally from South London but have been at Cardiff University for several years. I studied for a BA in Spanish at the School of Modern Languages, during which time I spent six months studying at the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) in Catalonia and a further six months at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) in Lima.
I later completed an MSc in Social Science Research Methods at the School of Social Sciences as a prelude to my PhD work. I am currently a Deputy Lead for the Global Language-Based Area Studies research pathway and a Postgraduate Research Representative within the School of Modern Languages.
I warmly welcome questions and comments of all kinds. If you’d like to get in touch, please feel free to write to me in Welsh, English, Spanish, Catalan or French.
