Overview

I am a Research Associate based at the Wales Autism Research Centre (WARC). My current project, funded by the Medical Research Council, is a collaboration between WARC and the Gwent Integrated Autism Service. The project aims (1) to evaluate the use of two Cardiff-deveoped questionnaire measures in the autism diagnostic process, and (2) to work with practitioners and people who have recently received an autism diagnosis to co-produce a set of personalised post-diagnostic support tools.

Previously I completed my PhD at the Cardiff University Neurodevelopment Assessment Unit. I worked with children aged 4-8 years and their families to complete assessments of cognitive, emotional, behavioural and social functioning, and carried out research into social communication and neurodivergence.
