Trosolwg
The first objective of the project will be to research a small selection of greater and lesser noble households in fourteenth-century England, both to draw conclusions about the practices of knights within separate households, and to identify specific household knights. The second objective will be to research the life and background of these individual knights in order to establish a set of common features and build an archetype of the household knight in fourteenth-century England.

The purpose of this project is to form a clear picture of the household knight in fourteenth-century England. This will include researching their social background, daily life and duties, as well as what holdings or responsibilities they had external to the household of their lord.
