  • Organised a career day for young girls. Event featured a talk titled “empowering the girl child for the future” and short speeches from six young ladies of different professions (St Judes Girls Secondary School, Yenagoa, Nigeria, 2010).

Diddordebau ymchwil

I am studying the dynamics of accommodation in children and young adults with visual impairment; with the ultimate aim of influencing the learning environment, where individuals are required to do tasks at different distances. My PhD research will include individuals with special needs conditions such as nystagmus, Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy and Autism.

    • Tutor/Demonstrator experience for WOPEC, and aspects of Ocular anatomy and physiology (OP1206), Clinical studies and dispensing (OP2201) and Colour vision and perception (OP2206).
