I am a 2nd year PhD student at DECIPHer, Cardiff University. My PhD is titled: 'Understanding the secondary harms of parental substance use on children's school outcomes'. I am fundamentally interested in the relationship, and what mechanisms may explain it. My skills center around data management techniques, quantitative methods/theory, and analysis. This includes factor analysis techniques, regression (in its varying forms), moderation analysis, and longitudinal analyses i.e. fixed effects, random effects. My current interests are in structural equation modeling (SEM), and how that can be used in the field of parental substance use.
