Cardiff University has a community of 28,000 students from more than 120 countries. Some students are supported in their studies by a scholarship awards; either from the University itself or external scholarships, including leading international organisations or charities.

To welcome our International Scholarship students to Cardiff and the University, a reception was held at the picturesque Aberdare Hall, built in 1883. The event was an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the importance that scholarships have played in welcoming students from around the world to study at Cardiff. Students were also able to meet each other, make friends and share their stories and experiences.

Here are some of our students telling their own story about what their Scholarship means to them and how they are finding the Cardiff student experience.
