Visiting rugby squads from around the world are making the most of the University's world-class training facilities in preparation for the Autumn Internationals against Wales.

Samoa, New Zealand and Australia will fine-tune their fitness and game play at the University's sports sites, readying themselves for their games at the Millennium Stadium on 16th and 24th November and 1st December 2012.

Argentina, who took on Wales in the first of the autumn international matches (10th November), was the first of the visiting teams to train at the University ahead of their game.

Stuart Vanstone, Head of Sport at Cardiff said: "Cardiff University is recognised by world-class teams as a leading training venue and ideal training location for teams of this calibre. Our performance-based environment and state-of-the-art facilities give sportsmen and women - at all levels - an opportunity to develop and achieve their full potential."

Cardiff recently welcomed Olympic athletes to its sporting venues, hosting pre-games and games time training for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games.
