Huw Irranca Davies MP pays a visit to the Institute

We recently welcomed Huw Irranca Davies, MP for Ogmore, to the European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute.

Mr Davies was given a tour of the laboratories by Dr Richard Clarkson who explained some of the key research being undertaken at the Institute. Mr Davies was particularly interested to hear that the Institute is less than one year away from its first clinical trials.

The visit was hosted by Elizabeth Treasure, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University, who described the work of the Institute as “truly ground-breaking and absolutely fascinating.”
