The Cardiff University Energy Systems Research Institute and Bergen University (Climate Helix Leader) are hosting an event on 17-18 September in Brussels bringing together researchers from academia and industry to network.

The event will focus on ‘Mitigating Household Energy Poverty’, a Horizon2020 Energy Work Programme call.

Institute co-Directors Professor Phil Jones (Welsh School of Architecture) and Professor Phil Bowen (Cardiff School of Engineering) will welcome over 65 delegates from 16 countries to the two-day event, which will take place in the heart of the city’s EU quarter, at the offices of Wales Higher Education Brussels.

The Vision2020 network is a pan-European association of organisations that want to take part in research projects funded by the European Union's Horizon2020 funding scheme. Coordinating the network's 'Energy Helix' not only allows Cardiff University to forge new research links and showcase our expertise in this area, but also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to European-funded collaborative research.
