Enactus Regionals Lunchtime Showcase Event

Enactus is the UK’s leading youth social action and youth enterprise education charity, supporting over 3,000 young entrepreneurial spirits every year. Its mission in the UK is to be recognised as a leader in developing a national network of socially-minded young leaders of the future who transform communities and society through real life social action and environmentally responsible enterprise.

On Tuesday 13th March, as part of its inaugural Innovation4All Festival, Cardiff University will be hosting Wales’ regional round of the 2018 Enactus student competition, which will be the first time the competition has been held in Wales. Working closely with Enactus UK, we aim to ensure that this exciting opportunity can also be used to raise awareness of the work of Welsh Enactus teams and to encourage engagement with Enactus across the academic, business and wider stakeholder communities in Wales.

As a key element of a day long programme of Enactus related activities, Cardiff Business School will be hosting a lunchtime showcase and networking event, where representatives from government, industry and the academic community can hear first-hand about the work of Enactus from students who are directly involved, as well as current Enactus partner organisations to discover the benefits of engaging with this exciting programme.

This free event, with buffet lunch provided, which will be held in the Executive Education Suite of Cardiff Business School’s Postgraduate Teaching Centre. Further details can be found on the Eventbrite registration site. Places are limited.
