The National Centre for Mental Health (NCMH) is working to recruit thousands of volunteers for mental health research, while raising awareness of mental health issues and combating stigma.
Mental illness can affect anyone, regardless of their age, race, gender or social background. In the UK it's estimated that one quarter of us will experience problems with our mental wellbeing at some point in our lives.
Researchers at NCMH are working to understand more about the causes and triggers of mental health conditions and aim to help improve diagnosis, treatment and support in the future.
We want thousands of volunteers from across the UK to take part in the research, which involves a brief online questionnaire (around 15 minutes). So far, more than 15,000 people have taken part.
